Back home and back on track

Hi Everyone!

I arrived yesterday from a nauseous turbulent 14 hour flight from Kuwait and now I’m writing you from my couch as I battle a little bit of jet lag.  babame2

I am sooo sad about ending my trip so soon and I already miss my mom, dad and brother so much :( . As you can see from my posts, family is very important to me. I couldn’t even imagine life without them. They motivate me in all aspects of life whether its work or love. Hopefully, I can make more frequent trips to see them in the future.

I woke up this morning around 8 am and made myself a pre-workout mini breakfast. I created a egg white omelette that I topped with 1/2 a banana, 1/2 tbsp hemp butter and 1 tbsp of local honey.

9 am I put my cute gym outfit on and headed to get my sweat on. I had an intense 20 minute butt blaster on the stairmaster and then continued with a leg and ab workout. My legs were twitching!!!

Since I was away for 10 days, I had nothing in my fridge so I made a trip to Genaurdi’s to pick up some essentials for the rest of the week.

grocI got some eggs, low sodium deli turkey, frozen spinach, brocolli, green     beans, 2 grapefruits, 2 pears, olives, chicken to make my chicken soup tonight, zucchini, sweet peppers, cauliflower, carrots, celery, onions to chop for my soup, salad mix, ground turkey.. hmm.. oh yeah… a box of green tea.

Now I’m ready to get back on track with my healthy and portion controlled meals, and fitness routine.

I have decided that tonight is movie and chicken soup night to relax and allow my body more time to recover properly so I can be at my optimum for Monday.

It’s 4 pm now and I’m going to go watch Oprah and get an update on her thyroid issue and whether Bob Green is suggesting any miracle cures for it. Dr. Oz is my favorite and truly seems credible and knowledgeable.

Stay healthy and talk to you soon!

Love,

Ghada
